SWOT/ Comp Analysis text:

 SWOT/ Competitor Analysis: We conducted thorough analysis of the client's main competitors in the Cork Metropolitan area to understand existing painpoints/ opportunities for our client by looking at what is and is not working in their prospective industry. By doing this, we were able to examine how our client can stand out and achieve their goals.  Most of our competitors made use of creative fundraising strategies to engage local donors and participants from the community, and used social media as their main form of outreach. Some had a better social media presence than others, which was amplified by a dynamic website that uses storytelling and personal connection. We noticed that there was an opportunity to break up potential engagement into catagories; donors, patients, and staff. Plan of action

  Strategy (plan of action): Going forwards we are going to focus on improving and furthering Cork Cancer Support House’s reach and networking. This will include a slightly updated website interface with a more visible logo size and placement as well as a handful of promotional material. These design solutions will be aimed towards 3 distinct groups: patience, caregivers and potential donors. Available merchandise will include pieces for the general public who wish to donate and exclusive gifts for commercial/corporate donors. The promotional material will include: care packages for patients social media material cohesive with the website’s branding updated merchandise for the store, catering to every demographic informational leaflets to hand out to donors Furthermore we are also putting together a proposal for potential fundraising and networking events.
